James Sagmiller was born and raised in rural Montana. His passion for art began at a young age and he was always fascinated by the beauty of nature and the world around him. This fascination led him to pursue a degree in Art from the University of Montana where he honed his skills and developed his unique style.

After completing his degree, James went on to earn a Master's Degree from the University of Las Vegas while continuing to explore his passion for art. He has interests in many different arts and disciplines including the historical arts of many different eras. More recently he finds a love for classic Asian Ink Painting and Abstract Impressionism.
